With nearly 30 years of professional excellence in the legal industry, Mr. Wall has held the roles of attorney and partner with Higgins Benjamin, PLLC, since 2012. In this position, he specializes in business and civil litigation, labor and employment, mediation and arbitration, and personal injury law. Prior to this appointment, he served as counsel with Robertson Medlin & Bloss, PLLC, from 2006 to 2012, partner with Clark Bloss and Wall from 2001 to 2006, and associate with Clark Bloss and Wall from 1998 to 2001. In addition, he expanded his expertise to academia, acting as an adjunct professor of law with Elon University from 2008 to 2014. Mr. Wall also held several roles with the American Association for Justice, formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers in America, including as member of the publications department and counsel with the ATLA Exchange.

Alongside his professional endeavors, Mr. Wall has engaged in a number of civic duties in his community, including as chair of the men’s fellowship steering committee with the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church since 2011 and member of the youth leadership program with Rotary International since 2010. He also has held the roles of agent of Impact Greensboro with the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro since 2007, as a preceptor and on the board of advisors in the School of Law at Elon University since 2006, and on the future fund with the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro since 2000.

A contributor of articles to professional journals, Mr. Wall has served as a contributing editor of several publications, including “Trial” and “Products Liability Law Reporter” with the American Association for Justice from 1994 to 1997 and “City’s Renege on Economic Development Loan Insightful on Employment Issues” in the NCBA Blog in 2017. He has also held the role of planner for the 2007 and 2008 North Carolina/South Carolina Bar Labor and Employment Law Update and the 2007 Fundamentals of Employment Law. Furthermore, he has contributed book reviews to Persuasion: The Litigator’s Art, Imagining the Law, and Roundtable on Products Liability from 1997 to 2000.

Mr. Wall received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Duke University in 1986, as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the School of Law at Washington and Lee University in 1989. He has since been admitted to practice in North Carolina and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts of North Carolina. He has been a certified superior court mediator since 2003.

In recognition of his exceptional accomplishments, Mr. Wall has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including as an honoree in employment law by Super Lawyers since 2016 and a Legal Elite in Employment Law in 2010 and from 2015 to 2017. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Greensboro Bar Association.

Married to Ashley Farlow since 1992, Mr. Wall is the proud father of two daughters. He attributes his success to getting involved with organizations, networking, and opening himself up to chances to educate himself from others. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing golf.
