Backed by decades of professional excellence, Mr. DiMascio is thriving as a partner of DiMascio & Associates, LLP. He founded the firm in 2004, and currently focuses on family law, litigation, and appeals. Mr. DiMascio really enjoys his work, made all the better by the fact that his son has joined him as a partner. His goal is to ensure every client has the support they need to win their case. In the past, he has lent his services to Joel R. Brandes, PC, Di Mascio, Meisner & Koopersmith, and his own private practices in New York.
When Mr. DiMascio isn’t working, he enjoys being active in his community. He is a fellow of the ABA, and a member of the board of directors of Historical Royal Palaces, Inc., the New York Planning Commission of the City of Glen Cove, and the Family Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, he edited and contributed to “Recent Decisions” for the Nassau County Bar Association, and lectured at the Nassau Academy of Law.
Over the years, Mr. DiMascio received numerous accolades for his efforts. He was selected as Matrimonial Lawyer of the Year by the Nassau County Bar Association in 2008, and for a variety of academic awards. Further, he was honored with inclusion in numerous editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in the World. His ongoing success can be attributed to his conscientious, prepared, honest, and ethical approach.
Mr. DiMascio prepared for his endeavors by earning a JD from St. John’s University in 1983, a Master of Arts from Long Island University in 1976, and a Bachelor of Arts from C.W. Post College (now C.W. Post Campus, Long Island University) in 1975. He also completed postgraduate work at New York University and garnered hands-on experience as a senior court officer in the New York State Supreme Court. Notably, from 1962 to 1969, Mr. DiMascio served in the U.S. Navy.
